The Wildebeest calving season runs from December through March and is when more than half a million baby wildebeests, called calves, are born,that is more than 8,000 babies are born in a single day. Visitors who are interested in viewing this spectacular event are encouraged to visit the southern plains of Serengeti around Ndutu, Naabi Hill and Kusini ; you can see hours-old calves practicing their first steps!!!
