Seychelles tourism ambassador in Tanzania once again steps up as carnival sponsor

Just like the much-awaited colorful Christmas decorations around Victoria during the month of December, people start feeling the excitement of carnival spirit once they see carnival décor and posters going up.
For all walking by or driving past the Seychelles National Cultural Centre, it must have been hard not to notice the massive 20 by 3-meter billboard banner announcing the upcoming “Carnaval International de Victoria” 2015 event.
The sponsorship of this banner was made possible through the works of Seychelles consul and tourism ambassador in Tanzania, Maryvonne Pool.
Miss Pool has also sponsored the backdrop banner which will be used on stage for the official opening at the People’s Stadium along with one which will be placed behind the VIP sitting area.
Her commitment as a faithful key partner of the Carnaval International de Victoria started since the first edition of the carnival in 2011 and her contributions have been much appreciated by the Seychelles Tourism Board.
“Maryvonne Pool is one consul and tourism ambassador who has openly supported our events and offered her assistance, and for that we are very grateful,” said Sherin Naiken, Chief Executive of the Seychelles Tourism Board. On his part, Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture, said that Maryvonne Pool, although not directly involved in the tourism industry of Seychelles, appreciates the importance of such an event that helps to keep Seychelles and the Indian Ocean region visible and in so doing relevant on the tourism map of the world.
