The beach is expected to boost the municipal’s annual revenue collections to over 17bn/- to be channeled to various developmental projects within Kinondoni District.

The project will run from the Lighthouse area in Masaki to the Sea Cliff hotel parking lot.

“It is claimed that Durban offers international and domestic tourists unique environmental assets, exciting waterfront developments, impressive conference facilities, sporting and other major events due to its beaches,” he added.
