China based media organisation-Elite Travel Connection (ETC) Company to broadcast live Karibu Travel and Tourism Fair

China based media organisation-Elite Travel Connection (ETC) Company will broadcast live Karibu Travel and Tourism Fair that will take place at Magereza Grounds in Arusha from June 6 to 8 this year.
The event will promote the country’s tourist attractions across the world.
Gabriel Mwenguo, Sales and Operations Director of Karibu Travel and Tourism Fair told The Guardian that the event will help exhibitors and visitors to exchange ideas on tourism sector, build alliances, cultivate regional and internationally network and bring global visibility to the thriving East African tourism industry.
According to Mwenguo, this is a three-day learning, networking and business building event that provides industry professionals from the public and private sectors in Tanzania, Burundi, China, America, Kenya, Rwanda, India, Uganda, South Africa and Malawi the opportunity to discuss issues relating to tourism industry.
Other professionals are from Congo, Ethiopia, Seychelles and Europe.
He said the door is open for local and foreign exhibitors to register so that they can participate in this fair.
Local, foreign firms and individuals who would wish to take part in the fair are advised to download the application form or register online at www.karibufair.com or visit Karibu Fair Limited offices located in Arusha City for more information.
He also called on Tanzania Tour Operators to create special tourism package trips with affordable price, where exhibitors and foreign travel agents will have the opportunity to visit the country’s tourist attractions.
He said once they them, “it will be easy for foreign travel agents to market what we have in their respective countries and help Tanzania to increase the number of tourist’s arrivals in the near future.”
He also called on exhibitors who will participate in the fair to bring with them sufficient promotional materials to be given to the visitors, saying they would help them to promote their firms.
Local and foreigner exhibitors, who will participate in the event, will be required to pay USD475 for individual booth and USD1, 425 for a shared booth.
The fair has been organised by Karibu Fair Ltd in liaison with the Tanzania National Park, the ministry of Natural resources and Tourism, Tanzania Association of Tour Operators, Tanzania Tourists Board and Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority.
