A group 25 former Real Madrid players made a five-day visit to Tanzania
from 22nd to 26th August in a trip that was organized by TSN Group of
Companies.
The former players, some of whom were accompanied by their spouses, played a friendly match with Tanzania XI, a soccer team made up by former Tanzanian players.
During their visit to Tanzania, the former Real Madrid legends Visited Mount Kilimanjaro National Park and Ngorongoro Crater as part of tourism and sports promotion, also a strategy to improve football in Tanzania.
A number of media coverage will be released to publicize Tanzania’s tourism in Spain through various media outlets including newspapers, TV programmes, also international sports media.
Prior to their departure back home, the Acting Managing Director of the Tanzaia Tourist Board (TTB) Devota Mdachi took a chance to handle the players with souvenirs packed with Tanzanian coffee, Tea and Masai clothing.
