Tanzania: Ngorongoro Crater Baffles Real Madrid Former Stars

The Ngorongoro Crater, which to most of the visiting former Real Madrid Soccer stars, resembles a giant stadium in which players are an assortment of wildlife species with the backdrop of untamed nature, must be the world's most spellbinding scenario.
"It is unbelievable!" exclaimed Mr Ramon Cobo a former soccer players with Spain's ace Football team, Real Madrid after he and fellow legends, with their families drove around the Ngorongoro Crater, which ranks high as 'Africa's New Wonders of Nature.'
Despite the midday game drive, (game sighting is best done in early morning), the visitors managed to see all the big fives; Lions, Leopards, Elephants, Buffaloes and the rare Rhinos, not to mention creepy reptiles, large hippos at the Engoitokitok Lake, wildebeests and of course the monkeys that usually welcome visitors at Loduare Gate entrance.
The 'old players' who also visited one of the Maasai Cultural Bomas in Ngorongoro promised to go back to Spain and highly promote the Tanzania's wildlife filled caldera and the gypsy Maasai traditional culture in both the capital Madrid as well Barcelona. They took back with them various artifacts as souvenirs from the Maasai huts.
"Unlike other attractions in Tanzania, Ngorongoro Authority is not only dealing with tourism promotion and wildlife conservation but also work hard in taking care of the Maasai residents in the conservation as well as promoting their world-famed traditional cultures," explained Mr Adam Akyoo the Public Relations Manager with the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority (NCAA).
Real Madrid's home venue is the giant Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.
The caldera which is the world's largest inactive, intact, and unfilled volcanic caldera, formed when a large volcano exploded and collapsed on itself two to three million years ago. It steeps some 610 metres deep with its vast floor covering 260 square kilometres. It also has a large crater lake inhabited by flamingos.
The Real Madrid legends drove from Arusha to Ngorongoro by road, enjoying scenic features En-route the 200 kilometers stretch. The journey wasn't free of mishaps though, vehicle breaking down, Tyre puncture incidences were all part of the northern adventure package.
