A group of International Tour Operators
and Journalists from different countries; Germany, South Africa, USA,
Ireland, Australia and India has completed two days tour in Zanzibar
where they visited Spice Farm and had smell and guess exercise to some
of the spices such as cardamom, cinnamon, Clove, Chilly and nutmeg.
During their visit at Stone Town they had a history of Slave trade in
Zanzibar at Old Slave Market and experience the culture of Zanzibar.
A part from that, the hosted buyers had
an opportunity to inspect some of the Tourist Beach Hotels in Zanzibar
and see the facilities and the services offered by the hotels.
This group is expecting to arrive in Dar today 30th, September, 2014 to participate in Swahili International Tourism Expo(S!TE) which will start from tomorrow on 1st – 4th October, 2014 at Miliman City, Dar es Salaam. After the exhibition the group will pay a visit to the Tanzania Northern Circuit tourist attractions.
