Tanzania Tourist Board officially launched Swahili International Tourism Expo (S!TE), the first ever international tourism fair to be held in the country. The four-day tourism expo was held from the 1st to 4th October in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania's commercial capital.
The showcasing focused on inbound and outbound travel to Africa as a
travel and trade exhibition; with a conference constituent focusing on
tropical tourism, sustainability, conservation and other market related
issues.
Among its main objectives, the expo sought to link Small
and Medium Tourism Enterprises (SMEs) with the International Tourism
Market.
