From 29th of September to 04th of October, the Change Management
Team (CMT) held a training in Bagamoyo on “Total Quality Advantage”
facilitated by Frank Kretzschmar from Stepwise Management©. The training
was one amongst several trainings that have been conducted in order to
support the transformation from Wildlife Division to Tanzania Wildlife
Management Authority (TAWA). “Total Quality Advantage” is a method for quality improvement in an organization on all levels.
During the training, the CMT internalized integral aspects of quality
management and further improved on their own skills. The CMT also
prepared for the cascading of the TAWA strategy to six identified zones
(Southern Highland, Western Zone, Eastern Zone, Northern Zone, Lake Zone
and Central Zone) in order to involve staff in the process countrywide.
